Autumn, winter, spring

Svindersvik Summer Residence is closed in autumn, winter and spring. The gardens surrounding Svindersvik are open for visitors to explore all year round.

The cultural and historical environment is not fully accessible.

  • There are gravel paths on the grounds.
  • It is a short walk from the parking lot to the main building.
  • A staircase leads into the main building.
  • We have stools available for loan.
  • Inside the buildings, there are thresholds between the rooms and stairs without elevators.
  • Good to know: There is no electricity in the heritage buildings; on overcast days, it can be a bit dim indoors and difficult to see where you’re stepping.

If you have questions about accessibility, please contact us at receptionen@nordiskamuseet.se.

Svindersvik’s boathouse café is open during spring and summer from 11.00–16.00. Enjoy freshly baked goods in a grandmotherly fashion and lunch dishes.
